  • When the fat in the double chin and neck area is removed, the contour hidden beneath the sagging double chin becomes visible, and the border between the chin and neck becomes more defined. In particular, thinning the fat layer under the chin can create the effect of a smaller-looking face.

    In cases where the skin's elasticity is not in good condition, inserting multiple absorbable threads into the dermis can provide support to the skin tissues that may relatively sag or droop due to the effects of fat suction or gravity.
    Secondly, these threads can induce inflammatory reactions either physically (by stimulating surrounding tissues with movement) or chemically (through reactions with immune cells during the process of hydrolysis).     Though the HIFU treatment alone might be insufficient as a treatment for facial sagging, complimentary effect can be expected when it is combined with thread lifting which physically repositions the tissue.

  • Thermage® RF treatment targets the think dermis layer of the skin, improving fine wrinkles, pores and superficial facial sagging with tightening effect.
    Liftera II® HIFU treatment targets SMAS layer underneath the dermis layer where RF treatment cannot reach, to trigger tightening effect. Improved result with complimentary effect can be expected as each treatment triggers tightening effect in different layer of the sagging skin.
