  • Q. How long does it take to return to daily activities after the procedure?

  • A. The time for returning to daily activities can vary depending on the individual's condition, but if you want to resume normal activities without any major issues, it usually takes around 1-2 weeks.

  • Q. Can I lie down or sit immediately after hip lift surgery?

  • A. Hip lift surgery involves thread lifting to tighten the muscle tissue and adding volume through fat transfer or fillers.
Applying pressure to the buttocks after the surgery can cause deformation.
Therefore, it is safe to lie down for sleep after 7-10 days following the surgery. If you have to sit for an extended period, it is advisable to take breaks and move around.
Using a cushion for support when sitting can also be helpful, as sitting may be uncomfortable immediately after the procedure.

  • Q. How many threads are used for hip lift surgery?

  • A. The number of threads used for hip lift surgery can vary depending on factors such as the size of the buttocks, the degree of sagging tissue, and the desired hip line shape.
It can range from around 10 threads to 50 or more. It is recommended to consult with the surgeon to determine the appropriate number for your case.

  • Q. Will there be visible scars after hip lift surgery?

  • A. Hip lift surgery requires small incisions for thread insertion, resulting in minimal scars.
Over time, these scars will fade and become less noticeable. The visibility of scars can vary depending on individual factors such as skin condition.

  • Q. What precautions should I take after hip lift surgery?

  • A. After hip lift surgery, it is important to keep the compression tape on until the next appointment for thread removal. Take prescribed medications to reduce swelling and prevent inflammation.
Avoid alcohol and smoking for one month after the surgery, as they can negatively affect healing, bleeding, and infection risks.
It is advisable to avoid strenuous exercise and intense dieting for approximately two months. However, light stretching and walking can be beneficial for reducing swelling.
